Since its first release several years ago, OMEGA’s Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer has enjoyed global success and popularity. The exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail now continues in a full selection of models that embrace even more impressive technology and design.
See it in Motion
“The symmetrical case and style follows the same look as OMEGA’s core Aqua Terra collection.”
It’s certainly worth touring every corner of these special creations. The 43 mm cases are made in 18K Sedna™ gold or stainless steel, while the models with rubber or leather straps have been integrated with polished links.
The dials feature vertical teak stripes and are surrounded by a circle of global destinations including OMEGA’s home city of Bienne in Switzerland.
“The different destination colours indicate GMT, +1 hour in summer, and places without daylight savings.”
The centre of the dial contains a 24-hour hesalite crystal ring, with the light blue half indicating daytime and the dark blue half for night. Then, a vision of Earth has been created on a grade 5 titanium plate. This has been laser-ablated to create the blue ocean, leaving a relief of the continents in contrasting colours.
Inside, the Worldtimer is driven by the Master Chronometer Calibre 8938 / 8939. The movements and complete watches have reached the industry’s highest standard of precision as approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
“The colours of the Earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction.”
To own a Worldtimer is to own a piece of watchmaking art. Choose your model in stainless steel or 18K Sedna™ gold and count the hours across the globe.
